Van 17 tot 25 september 2022 organiseert Compassionate Brugge, in tandem met het wereldcongres Public Health Palliative Care International, in Brugge het Knooppuntenfestival - een stadsfestival rond rouw en verlies.
"In 2020 werd Brugge als eerste stad in België een 'Compassionate City'. Met Compassionate Brugge willen we verlies, overlijden, verdriet, rouw, situaties van ernstige ziekte en langdurige (mantel)zorg een plek geven in onze stad. We willen mensen verbinden met elkaar en bestaande initiatieven en organisaties versterken zodat Brugge nog meer een solidaire en zorgzame stad kan zijn.
Daarom organiseren we het stadsfestival Knooppunten van 17 tot en met 25 september. Tijdens deze week zetten we allerlei initiatieven rond rouw en verlies in de kijker. En dat willen we samen met jullie doen."

From 17 to 25 September 2022, Compassionate Brugge will organize the Node Festival in Bruges - a city festival about mourning and loss. The festival is organised in tandem with the world congress Public Health Palliative Care International.
"In 2020, Bruges was the first city in Belgium to become a 'Compassionate City'. With Compassionate Brugge we want to give a place in our city to loss, death, grief, mourning, situations of serious illness and long-term (informal) care. We want to connect people with each other and strengthen existing initiatives and organizations so that Bruges can be an even more caring city and show its solidarity.
That is why we are organizing the city Node Festival from 17 to 25 September. During this week we put all kinds of initiatives around mourning and loss in the spotlight. And we want to do that together with you."
