Rhune De Baere

Rhune De Baere obtained a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Ghent University in 2023, followed by a Master’s degree in Sexology from KU Leuven in 2025.

In September 2025, she joined the End-of-Life Care Research Group as a doctoral researcher. Her work focuses on the PERIBRAVE-project, which focusses on designing and evaluating interventions for perinatal loss. The project consists of three phases:

1. Identifying the needs of parents, healthcare professionals, and the supporting community through qualitative research.
2. Co-creating tools and interventions together with various partners and stakeholders, tailored to those needs.
3. Implementing and evaluating these initiatives in practice.
