The Compassionate Communities centre of expertise (COCO) is comprised of researchers from 11 research groups across 5 VUB faculties with scientific backgrounds in health sciences, educational sciences, psychology, sociology, geography, literary sciences and archeology. COCO is led by two promotor spokespersons: Professor Joachim Cohen (End-of-Life Care Research Group) and professor Sarah Dury (Society and Ageing Research Lab).
